1. Create an irresistible lead magnet. You can offer a free download, cheat sheets or infographics, access to a tool, bonus content, or exclusive discount. Make it so enticing people will gladly give you their email address.
2. Keep your forms short. As tempting as it is to want to know everything about your prospect, just stick to the basics to reduce friction. A first name and email address are sufficient to get the conversation started.
3. Just ask. If you don't ask, they won't know it exist. So, add it to your email signatures, social media profiles, speaking engagements, ask people to reshare it, and of course feature it PROMINENTLY on your website (top nav bar + footer, in blog posts, and in your downloads).
