1. What inspires you to start your day?

Tackling things from my to-do list. On a personal note, coffee inspires me ☕. It’s the only 10 mins of my day (before my baby wakes up) that I take time to myself. That's the moment where I can think clearly and make decisions to manage my day. 2. What do you want to be known for? As someone that empowers other women and uplifts them. 💪🏽 3. What's the mistake that taught you the biggest lesson? When I started Colada Shop, I fantasized with how it would be. I didn’t want to deviate from my vision. I was hardheaded. Sometime after I realized I really needed to listen, evolve, and adapt. You can stay true to your vision, while also being aware of your surroundings to adapt with them. 4. What excites you the most about the future? As an immigrant, we see our rights to live here more as a privilege but not our right. We just stay silent and keep going. I love to see how immigrants and BIPOC rights are taking center stage to find a place where we are all equal. 5. What advice would you give to a fellow Latino just starting out in his professional career? Having a vision of where you want to get to. Stay curious. Find ways to keep growing within any job that you’re doing (even if it’s not assigned to you) and gain as many skills as possible. That was instrumental in my career. 6. What do you enjoy the most during HHM? I love that everyone is getting celebrated 🎉. I wish it could be year-round, but I love that we are stopping to celebrate our enormous contributions. 7. What book are you reading? How I Built This, NPR 📕 8. Your favorite dish (or Restaurant): Dish: Good bread with really good butter. My fave is at Manifest Bread in Riverdale (you're welcome bread lovers) Restaurant: Lutece in Georgetown 9.Favorite music artists: Bad Bunny 10. Favorite place to travel to: Barcelona, Spain 11.
