As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to an end, we want to celebrate year-round the countless contributions of the Hispanic community. We are grateful to live in a country where we can celebrate all races and backgrounds!

Our last F60 guest is an eight-time EMMY®️ Award winner filmmaker and TV producer. He is also the co-founder and chairman of the Latino Executive Network (LEN).

1.What drives you? What inspires you to start your day? My family👨‍👩‍👦‍👦. And being an example for my boys

2. What’s a fun project you’re working on? The Visa commercials that we filmed in Montana where I got to learn about the Native American culture. It was a very special experience for me.

3. What do you want to be known for? Being honest and transparent.

4. What do you want your legacy to be? My kids. To raise 2 amazing humans. 👨‍👦‍👦

5. What's the mistake that taught you the biggest lesson? Put my ego to the side, focus on listening to others.

6. What excites you the most about the future? Continue to create and invent.

7. What advice would you give to a fellow Latino just starting out in his professional career? First, I don’t like giving advice but here goes. Be stubborn and fight for what you believe. Have patience because life is a marathon of resistance not a sprint. 🏃

8. What do you enjoy the most during HHM? That we remember our roots. Although I do believe that it goes beyond just one month. It should be everyday to recognize the contributions and culture of our diverse community.

9. What book or podcast are you reading/listening to? Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind is a book by Yuval Noah Harari, (book) and listening to Hernán Casciari (Argentine writer, editor, and content creator who has a podcast)

10. Your favorite dish (or Restaurant): Asian food, specifically Thai. Too many to count, but among my favorites are Thai Crossing, Astoria, and DoiMoi.

11. Your favorite music artist: I have many but Jorge Drexler would definitely be at the top.

12. Your favorite place to travel to: Roatán, Honduras

13. An app or gadget you can’t live without: Spotify, I can’t live without music.🎵

14. What’s a proud moment in your career?
My first Emmy 🏆 that marked the rise of my career, my first feature film, La Condesa, and my first book, Una Antología Casi Literal.
