🦩 Got writer's block?

Updated: Dec 8, 2021

Content creation is what everyone is talking about nowadays. Just thinking about it might give you anxiety. Easier said than done, right? We feel ya!

Here are 8 ways to get your creative juices flowing so you NEVER run out of ideas:
  1. Keep a swipe file or an ideas bank. If ANYTHING catches your eye or sparks your curiosity, whether a headline, a picture, a quote or interesting story, SAVE it in one central place to recall when you're ready to write.

  2. Answer your customers common questions or FAQs (This is the foolproof, highly effective method that Marcus Sheridan teaches in his book, They Ask, You Answer.)

  3. Share customer or client success stories, aka user generated content (UGC). Better yet, invite customers for an interview of their experience working with you.

  4. Be on the lookout for news or trends that align with your content pillars (the things you specialize in or are passionate about that tie back to your business).

  5. Be a contrarian and debunk myths specific to your industry (little-known things that may be misunderstood or contrary to popular belief).

  6. Partner with guest bloggers that can help amplify your reach.

  7. Plan for seasonality, holidays, or special awareness days that matter to your audience.

  8. Get personal and tell your story as a business owner, your team, your pets, your hobbies, books you're reading, or lessons learned.
