Unless you've been hiding under a rock 🫣, the business, marketing, and academia world are all abuzz with ChatGPT, the AI chatbot that launched in December 2022. In its first week after launching, they amassed 1 million users. 🤯 Why should you care about this new technology? 🤖 But first... 🪷🪷🪷 Have you seen the latest ad from Tito's Vodka with Martha Stewart? Brilliant way to play off their audience's drinking habits 🍸 during Dry January. Take a look at the ad and have a laugh. 🤣🤣

If you don't know what ChatGPT is, here's the techie definition: ChatGPT was developed by the AI research company OpenAI, which has backers including Microsoft, Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Greg Brockman, Ilya Sutskever, and Wojciech Zaremba. The technology it uses allows users to talk to the AI about almost anything. It is one of the most powerful language processing models ever created, and is able to respond in different styles, and up to 95 different languages. What sets it apart from previous AI chat tools, is how it can respond in natural-sounding language. If you didn’t know it was AI behind it, it could easily be mistaken for a chat with a real human. Bottomline: AI is changing the game of content creation and communications. 🦾 No matter what industry you are in, we're all content creators 🤓 ✍🏼. The challenge is how fast and consistently can you churn it out. Like all trends, it's hard to predict exactly how it will change the way we work. One thing is for sure. While AI gets smarter, it will make it easier to feed the content beast. Don't worry about losing your job to AI just yet. Overall, as a copywriter, the AI is not great. And it's limited because it will not provide info after 2021.
